Unruly Allies is six seasoned, passionate performers — Stacy Raphael and Walter Poleman on guitars and vocals, Jom Hammack on mandolin and vocals, Keith Burt on keyboards, Tim Richter on bass, and Sam Hooker on drums, vocals, and accordion — bringing excellent music to farmers' markets, festivals, brewpubs, and B & Bs.

Sporting originals and full-band covers running the gamut from Emmylou Harris to INXS, Unruly Allies' sound can be hushed fingerstyle guitar one moment, explosive multipart harmony the next. Past Vermont appearances include the Basin Harbor Club, Hired Hand/Bar Antidote, Jericho Cafe & Tavern, the Green Mountain Aviation Field Days, the Capital City Farmers’ Market, Blueberry Hill Inn, and Lake Champlain Maritime Museum. Winter 2024-2025 finds the Allies at new spots like the Vermont Cider Lab and Two Heroes Brewing Company. Cold and dark outside? Warm and bright in here, and the company's nice.
